Boo hoo, MacBook needs a new hard drive.

Dropped my MacBook off at an authorized Apple repair place today. Fucker won't boot from the internal drive, system can't see the hard drive anymore, Disk Utility can't see it, hard disk is dead. I suppose I could've tried a Knoppix (or Ubuntu) live cd, but I'm lazy and there wasn't much on the hard drive I would want to save. Beauty of the story for me is that it's still under warranty and won't cost me a dime for the new drive, hopefully Apple no longer offers the size drive I had and I'll get a bigger one at no charge. Crossing my fingers...

I doubt you will, they might not even, put the same brand of a hard drive in. There's no way to know, without opening it up. They wouldn't do that, cause apple is a cheat bastard.
