Buffalo Linkstation NAS as a SlimServer...

Saw a very intriquing post on the Slim mailing list today. Using a Buffalo Linkstation NAS as a device to stream music over a network. (Note: I haven't read any specs about this thing, is it wireless? don't know, what's the storage? varies, can my Mac connect? uhh no clue)

Since the Buffalo device uses linux as its OS, some clever folk have found ways to hack it and extend it beyond the makers intentions. Apparently it's possible to turn this "Network Attached Storage" box into a SlimServer, and who know's what else?

Maybe I don't have to make a mini-itx lunch box pc that's a music server after all...but I still want to make the lunch box pc anyway
