Music is still cheaper on itunes. But its harder for the riaa to find you cause they'd have to either hack into the site or spy on you illegally.

Well its cheaper cause I forgot thats a whole cd. Unless of curse they lie and give you a cd with nothing or with only one song. Also the riaa could sign up with many accounts then they get your address so they can send you the cd so then they have your address and they can sue you. Also they could send you a cd with a root kit for windows and then maybe with some kind of mac spyware that bypasses mac secuirty and installs itself. So using this makes it easier for the riaa to get your address. They don't have to contact your isp.

You'll say your not a theif but you are because of what your going to do with the cd. Your not going to just listen to it but rip it to your hard drive. If you were just going to listen to it then that wouldn't be stealing. Riping the cd that you "borrowed" is stealing. I'm sure the riaa would say the same. If your going to steal the music anyways I don't see why you don't just use a file sharing program. Your doing the same thing and you don't have to wait as long. I'm sure the site will be gone one day. As the riaa will take em down. Possibly sueing all people that used the service.

I'm not borrowing anything, I'm trading, once I have a cd, I own it and can do what I please with it. This is basically the same as buying used cds, and that's perfectly legal.

Well then you must delete all the songs from the cd you got rid of. You don't have it anymore therefore if you keep the songs <strike>your</strike> you are stealing. You must own the songs either on cd or from iTunes for the music to be legal. So if <strike>your</strike> you are keeping the music that was on that cd then <strike>your</strike> you are <strike>braking</strike> breaking the law. Their service is promoting in just doing that. So I still think they will go down.
