Asterisk installed!
Yeah, I installed Asterisk The Open Source PBX. Tearing my already balding hair out trying to set it up. I installed from source via ... not cvs ... the other thing, that's replacing cvs, subversion. A kind of help in this struggle is the animal book put up for free. I'm still lost, even with the book.
Yes, I'm actually reading that book.
Right now I'm struggling to extend my network with my Airport Express. I'm sooo close to getting it to work in WDS mode with my Linksys router. It's a real pisser resetting things to factory default over and over again.
God damn, I got it right! Now my TiVo doesn't need to be hard wired to my router, it's connected to my Airport Express! I am so happy!
Joy is over, Asterisk needs to be figured out now. Whee! Little bit of joy left over.
I should link to the sites that helped me figure out how to use the Airport Express in WDS mode with a Linksys WRTG54. Yeah, a google search, I won't say which one helped me the most. I'm just happy TiVo will stop bitching at me about a daily call now.
Arrrgh, messed it up. Figure it out tomorrow. At the very least TiVo will stop bugging me for a couple of weeks while I make it work.

As I said on phone.
Well good luck getting it to work. You could always try asterisk at home.

Pretty sure there's a non iso file that you compile or something though tried that but it didn't work for me.
