Adobe Press Room: Way back in April
I knew that I had heard that Adobe was buying Macromedia. If you don't believe me, read an Adobe press release here. Will the new Adobe/Macromedia continue supporting linux like Macromedia did? I wonder...but you have to consider the PDF format, that was created by Adobe, and it's pretty much open for others to use, I can make a PDF with OpenOffice, or PDFCreator. Maybe they take their time making things for linux users, or they depend on volunteers for the linux stuff. I reckon at some point the newest flash will work in linux.

They might as well drop support for osx if thats the case. Oh yeah adobe reader is for linux. So they probably wont. If they do then they suck. Oh yeah but the open source cominuty will figure something out for flash.
