Yes to Hemp!
Had no idea that there is a bill in the works to basically redefine pot's legality sort of. Hemp is great stuff, good to make ropes, durable fabric, paper, who knows what else, maybe biodiesel... Anywho, let's hope this bill gets through to a full vote in the house and then the senate. The bill is designed to make industrial hemp a seperate thing from the "makes you crazy high" pot. That way farmers can grow the no-high stuff to harvest the stalks for industry. Found about this from Arriana Huffington's blog via Digg. Oh and I wrote a college paper about hemp long time ago for an english class. Our founding fathers grew hemp for the rope, they made toilet paper out of hemp, the first "Penthouse Forum" was printed on hemp paper (yes, Bob Gucionne is that old, and yes, even back then the letters were fake).
