Woo hoo! There will be a new Diablo game. I bet it won't work on my Mac or maybe any Mac. I can't say which game I'm looking more forward to, Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. I know I want both of them. I'd buy a new laptop for Diablo 3, not for Spore. That Diablo 3 site sucks, I can't enter my age to look at a video. Maybe it's Safari. Nope, Firefox can't do it either. Bah. Urgh. Oh, who knew that the skull was a slider, still sucks, needs to be obvious, and why can't I just down arrow to my number, slider, bah!

Had a dead bird and it's detached head on my doorstep today. I hope it's a feral cat that left me a gift and not some looney neighbor trying to tell me something. I left it there and will take a pic later. Don't know why a wild cat would want to give me a gift, I don't leave food out or anything. Might be time to buy a gun. I used to have a gun, what did I do with it? I sold it. Durn. Or did I?

I bought "There Will Be Blood" on iTunes. Only because the stuff I've seen online gets all pixellated. That's not the only reason, I'm a big fan PT Anderson. A while ago I actually asked the dude who runs PT's website if he knew of a good torrent for TWBB, rumor was that some torrents didn't have the whole movie. He answered with the appropriate response, WTF?

I was pulling into the alley today and saw a couple of critters in my neighbors driveway eating seeds or something. They were too big to be squirrels, when they noticed me I saw them run into a hole they had dug under the garage door. Think they are marmots. Cute, but I wouldn't want them living in my garage, wonder if my neighbors keep pet food in there?

Why are my feet so veiny? Warm weather? Kinda looks like my feet work out and are pumped up, but they don't work out.

Update: Posting this pic of my tatted up feet reminds me of something. I got the tattoos as part of an independent study art project in college. My professor wanted me to wear sandals always for the rest of my life (I don't wear sandals). Same prof who said behind my back (third hand no clue if it's true Askman) if I had any integrity I'd have the same piercings 10 years later (had my tongue, ears, eyebrow pierced at the time). I clearly have no integrity because I'm free of foreign objects adorning my body at this time. I do wear glasses that hook over my ears, but that's it.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that professor thing before, my nieces or nephew could tell me, no way I'm reading through all my previous posts. I just write the stuff, don't care to read it. Do those feet look 37 years old?

Dude who hasn't paid me for the Wii yet gave me his iPod and a bunch of CDs. He wants me to rip his CDs and put them on his iPod because he's too stupid to figure it out. I don't think he's ever plugged it into his computer. I'll do it, but the dope doesn't realize that as soon as he plugs the iPod into a Windows machine iTunes will want to reformat it because I'm using a Mac to put his music on it. At least I get to steal his music. I'll be sure to put a nasty pic or two on his 160 GB iPod.

He has a Faith No More cd, I'll load him up with some other Mike Patton stuff, like Tomahawk and Fantomos, and Peeping Tom if I had any.

Found this amazing porno cartoon from the 1920's via Boing Boing, who found it on Panopticist. The story is of a well hung dude who woke up with wood looking for release. The cartoon was supposedly made in honor of Winsor McCay, a truly great innovator in animation, and not intended to be released to the public. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, just a nice reminder that as long as there's been visual expression there's been "erotic art" aka porn. It's also a nice reminder that cartoons aren't only for kids, some cartoons are only for grown-ups. Probably NSFW

Only 299.00 for a new 16GB 3G iPhone. True GPS, it's smaller, totally plastic case, metal buttons, oh, don't forget 3G almost twice as fast as EDGE. The only reason to get one is because it's smaller and has GPS and the 3G, and better battery life, and my ATT contract wouldn't start over again. Why can't I pre-order one!!!! My town is almost totally covered by 3G, everywhere I go anyway. Maybe I can go into a coma until the 11th of July. I'm just too excited.

Damn, this will be my third iPhone since it first came out. First was 4GB, then a refurbed 8GB, next 16GB 3G... maybe I'll wait until the 3G version is hacked...

For some reason my local (kinda local, state local) channels stopped working today on DirecTV. The fine folk at DirecTV opened up the west coast feed for network programs so I could see the first game of the NBA finals and "So You Think You Can Dance". I didn't ask them to do that, so they must know what's up. What happened to the Seattle locals DirecTV?

Why not get the Spokane locals some might ask. Because I'd have to get a new dish. I've been lying to DirecTV about where I live for too long to stop now. DirecTV thinks I live in some Dentist's office on the west side of the state.

Do pugs ever stop shedding? Sheesh, hair everywhere. Staying at my folks place for who knows how long and they've got a couple of pugs. I would think that in the cold weather they'd keep as much hair as possible. Maybe when it gets colder.

iPhone glass replacement kit showed up today. The glass in the kit was broken. Shoot.

Dummy at work told me that today. He voted, but didn't vote for president, just local elections. All because of the electoral college system we have, his lame state of Idaho only has 4. He claims that he hates the electoral college system and would rather that the popular vote would prevail. Hey dummy, you didn't vote for president, so yours didn't count period. Obama won the popular vote as well.

The movie still sucks, but it looks a lot better in Blu-Ray. I will say that you can sort of tell the bad guys from the good guys in the higher def version. Viewing the DVD version I couldn't really follow the action, or tell which robot was which. To be honest I was catching up on email and stuff during the heavy CGI scenes. Just wanted to see what's her name in a belly shirt and short skirt in high def.

I've seen that people take credit for my work. Not difficult work, took me 15 minutes or less to do it, squeezed it out before I left on Friday. Emailed the result of my work to the coworker that requested it. Subsequently read an email where that coworker claimed that they created it, they may have edited it, but don't take full credit. Just gives me more reason to hate on folk. This particular coworker couldn't have created it ever. Best to move on if able. Will be with some folk this weekend that might have some options.

It's obvious. Why even debate it? If you look at Kristen Wiig's nose in "Walk Hard" and how it looks on the most recent episodes of SNL, it's clear that she had a nose job. I personally think she looks better.

I just bought a new glass screen and tools to replace it off eBay. Shit is coming from Hong Kong. Why do they call it 2G? That 2G stuff confuses me. Anyway, even if it's the wrong size it was only around 14 bucks. Isn't the 3G iPhone the second generation? They claim it fits a 4 gig iPhone, so that would be a first generation iPhone.

A local company can replace the busted glass screen on my iPhone for "... $65 (parts), $10.88 Shipping, and $35 labor...", so hmm, math, let's see 110.88. Cheaper than sending it back to Apple. Too bad I don't have some other phone lying around I could put the sim card into during the repair time. They say 5-10 days turnaround. Would they need to have my iPhone the whole time? Need to find out what it would cost to get out of my ATT contract. Then go T-Mobile and G1, depending on what it costs to dump ATT. Although, I'm liking an App on the iPhone called GasHog that helps you track how many miles per gallon you get, and what the fuel costs per mile.

That G1 looks goofy, has no standard headphone jack, doesn't play video, not truly open thanks to T-Mobile, has a 2 year contract like ATT.

Fuck it, I'm stuck. Maybe I'll get the 3G iPhone instead and sell the busted one to help offset the cost. I'll have to make sure to take blurry pictures of it.

It was very easy to setup the first 3 times. Why 3 times? Well, I'm trying to use Boxee on it and that requires some work, not really, but I tried it over again when samba wasn't working. Still need some work to get samba shares to load. All the iTunes stuff works great, I can stream any media in my iTunes library fine, movies I've bought, podcasts, music I've bought. What I really want is samba shares to work. That will involve some ssh and ftp work. NitoTV may be the answer. Not a novice to ssh or ftp so I'm not scared about it, just too late in the day to tackle it tonight.

BTW: Never knew I could boot from a USB card reader.

BTW 2: The 2.2 Apple TV update included 1080p.
